    "content": "I take note that this morning, the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for the Interior and Coordination of National Government and the Inspector-General (IG) sort to designate areas where people can picket and demonstrate in and around this city and other parts of the country. In the same light, it is very important and critical that you, as the Chairman of the PSC, also designate a place that will not put Members of Parliament in danger of such demonstrators. It will be a place where anybody who intends to picket or demonstrate outside Parliament is designated a corner away from the gates where they can picket. If they have petitions to present to the House, the people leading the demonstrators or the petitioners can then approach the gate or any Member of the House or our staff from the Clerk’s Office can go to the demonstrators and pick the petition. This is what happens in all other civilised societies like the civilised western democracies. There are designated areas where people can picket and demonstrate."
