"content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I beg to support this Motion. The Supreme Court of Kenya directed the IEBC to hold elections on 26th October. It was to be on the 17th, but Raila Odinga said it should be pushed and he was given a chance and the date was set for 26th. The NASA Coalition said they are not ready for the elections. This House has just passed Kshs12 billion for the elections. We know what is happening in Nairobi and Kisumu. Our people are not having a conducive environment to do business. The economy of this country cannot be killed because of one side or the other. Whatever agenda NASA has against this country is not going to materialise. Kenya is in the hands of God and there are people who are praying. We ready for the elections. We are going home and we know that Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta will be sworn in as the president of this nation. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
