When livestock becomes too weak, the biggest disaster occurs during the onset of the first heavy rains and so we need to put adequate plans in place. Therefore, it is very timely that we are going back home to talk to our people, to sit with them, assess the effects of the drought and prepare for the rains. Some of us who come from very far areas, even these three weeks might not be enough. Essentially, we are going for recess for the elections, but there are many other things that we need to do. I can see the light is now red. I therefore support the Adjournment Motion. I could even have asked for another extra week. Thank you."
