"content": "that we can to ensure they do well in life. Dr. Gakuru had a young family of children who are still in school and we will take that responsibility. There is not much that anybody can say at this time. We can never question God. God is always right. He will bless his family, the people of Nyeri and the people of this country. At this moment, we need to reflect. This is because the other day we lost Bishop Korir. Some of us are questioning our spirits. The best thing that we can do is to shun any political difference and come together for the welfare of Nyeri County. We should unite as the people of Nyeri County. Similarly, I call upon the whole country to shun our political differences and move forward together. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank the Government for the way it has reacted to this tragedy. It has pledged to give us all the support and we are extremely grateful for that. We are also grateful for all the condolences that have come through this House. This shows that this is not a matter affecting one side only. It affects all of us. I hope that we, as a House and the country, will move on together. There is nothing more to say other than God knows best. We, as Christians and our Muslim brothers, should know that is the route for all of us. It is at times like this when we realize that we do not know the hour, minute or the second of death. It is in times like this when we realize how true these words are. Again, I call upon the people of Nyeri County to shun their political differences. Whatever side one is on and whatever competition that there is, should be shunned and we move on together from now onwards. That is the greatest show of gratitude that we can show God and the best thing that we can do for our people. May God bless Nyeri County, Kenya and Dr. Gakuru’s family."
