    "content": "They were just kicked out of their land and left to fend for themselves and determine where to live. It is because of that, that up to now you cannot physically trace the Talai community and locate them to any particular part of the country. I feel that the most prudent thing for this House to do is to listen to their pleadings that have been made by the Petitioner and look into ways of compensating them and establishing perhaps a particular place where they will call their residential home for the future generations and for them to be settled there. Maybe they can then pick up the pieces and try to retrace the roots of their family. Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is a well-documented historical fact that when certain dictators and evil men on this earth wanted to kick out certain segments of the population, one of the things they would do was to disperse them to the various parts of the earth and not give them somewhere to live. It is extremely important that within the time allocated for the Committee that will be set aside to look into this Petition, it does good recommendations such that if there are any other Kenyans out there who were treated unjustly, they may look up to the Senate and realise that this is a great House where you can run to and find justice.
