    "content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, all those three Members represent both sides of the House. Hon. Mwadime is there because he was a Member of the Pensions Committee during the 11th Parliament, and we need him for transition and institutional memory. Section 19 of the Parliamentary Pensions Act, Cap 196, provides that there shall be Pension Management Committee comprising of – (a) The Speaker of the National Assembly who shall be the chairman; (b) The Attorney-General or his representative; (c) Three members of the National Assembly to be appointed by the National Assembly and approved by the House; (d) The Permanent Secretary to the Treasury or his representative; (e) The Clerk of the National Assembly, who shall be the Secretary; and (f) The Accounts Controller of the Treasury. These are the other members as given out in section 19(1) of the Act."
