    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Pursuant to Standing Order No.33(1), I seek leave of the House for adjournment of debate for purposes of discussing an urgent national matter relating to the recent killings of livestock in Laikipia. There has been an ongoing conflict between herders, private ranchers and security agencies. Unfortunately, of late, and most recently on Sunday, 5th November 2017, the situation has escalated to loss of lives and livestock and destruction of property of unknown value. This is a matter that requires urgent Government intervention to restore peace among local communities and permanently resolve similar situations across Laikipia and the country. It is for this reason that I therefore seek for adjournment of the House to discuss this matter of great national concern. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
