"content": "When death happens, as it happened today, it should bring all of us together. We know that Governor Wahome has left us at a time when we are seriously polarised as a country. Indeed, this death should serve as a lesson; that, we, human beings, are mortal. Today we are here, tomorrow we are gone. Therefore, we need to understand that fact even as we conduct our affairs as Kenyans, and as Members of Parliament. Therefore, I wish to express my deep condolences once again and pray that God continues to guide and help the family that the late Hon. Wahome has left behind. As I do so, I also wish to remember those other Kenyans who have lost their lives in last couple of weeks or so – very unnecessarily - during the skirmishes surrounding the elections in this country. I feel very much for them and the families they have left behind. Thank you."
