    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker, for giving me this opportunity. The people of Siaya, my family and I send our deep condolences to the family and the people of Nyeri for losing such a brilliant mind, a leader and a person who has served this nation. I am not mourning him. I am celebrating his life as that is what we should be doing. When I woke up in the morning and got this message, I thought of many things. I said how useless our lives are. You wake up in the morning healthy and strong; and as you proceed to work or to an assignment, you die on the way. I looked at our lives and said that they are useless. That is why we need to celebrate ourselves for the little time we are given on earth. I want to conclude by also celebrating the lives of the Kenyans that we buried in the last month. It is only last Saturday that I buried, in my county, a pilot of an airplane that plunged into Lake Nakuru. Bodies of some of the people who perished in that accident have not been found. We buried Captain Apolo Malowa last Saturday. I take this time also to celebrate his life. I also The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
