"content": "This has been particularly seen in a number of conservancies in Laikipia, including Ratia, Mugie, Sossian and Suyian, where many animals have been shot dead by police officers. Nothing justifies the horrific massacre of innocent and sacred animals. I call them sacred because the cow, to some communities of Indian origin, is a god. To our people, the cow is everything. The cow is school fees, food and basically everything you can think of. Therefore, there is no justification for killing livestock."
