Political parties will play a very significant role, especially in appointments to certain positions, or in election to positions; an example is the case of the senate where women will be appointed from a party list. Unless we have party discipline, we will have a situation where women, who come in, may not necessarily represent the agenda that the women of this country have fought for. That is why it is good for us that as a Parliament we are already moving in that direction."
