Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order 33, I wish to seek leave of the House to discuss the matter of ongoing killings in Bungoma County, particularly in Kimilili Constituency and Mt. Elgon Constituency where in a span of three months more than 42 people have lost their lives. Among the people killed are women and minors have been defiled. I want to remind the House that no Kenyan has the right to take away the right of another Kenyan. Even a pregnant woman has no right of taking away the life of the baby she is carrying."
