"content": "for making it possible for us to have this Bill. I support it entirely. It is necessary that professions are well regulated. When we hear of buildings collapsing in various parts of this town and in other parts of the country, it is because the profession has been left for any person walking around. When that happens, everybody would want to say that he knows what to do in a given situation and we end up in the difficulties that we have had as country. For that reason, it is good that we have this Bill. I support it and ask that it be allowed to become law by all of us here and those who are not there. In terms of its cost, we can borrow a leaf from other professions. We have the valuation surveyors and they cost nothing to the Government. This is because the people who get into the managing of the profession are the individuals who are already employed by the public service. Other than the sitting allowances, it costs no money to the Government. For that reason, we should not block it for reasons that we fear it will cost the Exchequer some money. There is a lot which has been said about this Bill, but it suffices to say that it is long overdue. I want to thank everybody who has made it possible for it to come to the Floor and the Members who have supported it. With those few remarks, I support."
