"content": "(Hon. (Dr.) Lilian Achieng Gogo): Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. There was quite a bit of time. I am timing myself. I am about to finish. I want to mention something on the things that bind us together as a nation. We have symbols of national unity. One of them is the Coat of Arms. Another one is the National Anthem. We also have the Presidency. The Kenyan flag has been voted the best in the world for the content of its colours. Nobody has ever questioned our Coat of Arms, but we have issues with the Office of the President, irrespective of who is occupying it. When will the Office of the President of Kenya ever unite the people? I am making a special appeal to the hon. Members of the 12th Parliament that, as we engage to put Kenya in a different level; as we engage to put Kenya where it belongs, and we engage to make Kenya a hub of reference for other developing countries, we must look at our unity. Thank you."
