I had indicated that 43 permanent employees and 83 seasonal employees were paid, but the Member of Parliament for Juja presented a list of 28 additional employees. I have since confirmed that some of them were employees of Tasia Coffee Estates. My Labour Officer in Thika, in conjunction with the management of the company, are verifying documents to ensure that they are all in order, so that they can be paid their dues within the next 29 days."
