    "content": "I have been a Member of this House for a while and I know if there is any difficult period of time in the life of leadership of the House, it is during this time. Hon. Speaker, I am sure you will witness it next week when emotions will run very high in this House. That is the time when Members will realise that they will not able to sit in committees that they preferred to sit in and hence a lot of criticism will fly around. However, I would just encourage the leadership of both sides of the House, and I am one of them, that we try as much as possible to be transparent and involve our Members in participating in choosing their committees. However, even as we do that, there is a terminology that has come up which I never used to hear of ‘Lucrative Committees”. I am yet to understand this terminology of how a committee can be lucrative. This is because my experience here is that the sittings of the committees is almost usually uniform that even the so called Catering Committee that Hon. T.J.
