Could the Government and the Ministry concerned re-formulate the policy on compensation, such that if one is surrendering their two acres of land for construction of a dam, they are given an alternative parcel of land depending on the area? It can either be an equal two acres or three to four acres. People can then move with their families. At the end of the day, as soon as the compensation comes, the man starts looking for another wife and forgets that he had a family. He disappears and only realizes that he had a family when the money is over. Later, they come back to become a nuisance to everybody."
