    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I have a petition by the residents of Mowlem Ward regarding alleged irregular allocation of Plot L.R. N0.11379/3. I, the undersigned, on behalf of residents and squatters of Mowlem Ward, Embakasi West Constituency, draw the attention of the House to the following: THAT, Land Reference Number 11379/3 is located in Mowlem Ward, Embakasi West Constituency, Nairobi County; THAT, the Mowlem squatters have resided on the said parcel of land since the year 1990; THAT, in 2016 the said parcel of land was allocated to a group referred to as Kiambu Dandora Group; THAT, several individuals and groups are claiming ownership of the said parcel of land and allegedly hold title deeds in respect to this particular parcel; THAT, in the recent past the petitioners have lost their properties due to conflicting orders issued by the National Land Commission and courts; FURTHER THAT, residents have allegedly witnessed police harassment and brutality occasioned by some land grabbers and conflicts over the said land; The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
