If you look at Article No.27 of the new Constitution, Schedule 6(27)(b) the IIBRC shall determine the boundaries of constituencies and wards using the criteria mentioned in this Constitution. Mr. Speaker, Sir, if you look at Article 89 of the Constitution, it is very clear that their mandate was to review the number of wards and their boundaries. I am privy to the information tabled here. However, I am wondering whether the gazettement was for the number of constituencies and the boundaries. The Chair must address this issue. If that is not the case, then there is a matter that requires more clarification. Mr. Speaker, Sir, we need your guidance on whether there was anything gazetted for the boundaries. That is my worry."
