    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. Accidents along Salgaa and Sachangwan have been very disturbing. As leaders, we should not just give condolences to the families, but do something. We had agreed on most of the things that my colleague has highlighted while moving the Motion. I will base my contribution on four factors. We need an engineering solution on the design of this road. On this, there are three options that we request the national Government to explore. One of them would be to construct a dual carriageway between Kibunja and Salgaa. In yesterday’s accident, the truck ran over 13 motor vehicles that were on the opposite lane. Were it a dual carriageway, most likely the truck would not have hit the 13 vehicles. So, we ask the Government to expedite the process. His Excellency the President promised Kenyans this morning that the process is at an advanced stage. We hope the Government will keep its word and have the dual carriageway done as soon as possible."
