    "content": "Parliamentary Party. In this case, you will pick five candidates for the majority party, and four candidates for the minority party. Hon. Senators, kindly note that the ballot paper is divided into two clusters. That is the Jubilee Party’s cluster, which has 14 candidates. Out of which, you pick five. The NASA coalition’s cluster has 11 candidates. Out of which, you will pick four. In respect of the Jubilee cluster which consists of 14 candidates, a Senator will be entitled to vote for not more than five candidates. That means five or less, but not more than five candidates. In respect of the NASA coalition’s cluster, which consists of 11 candidates, a Senator will be entitled to vote for not more than four candidates. It is, however, important to note that in order to meet the requirement for the Treaty for the establishment of the East African Community (EAC) and our Constitution in reckoning the candidates to be declared elected the final list will have to include at least one-third of either gender.
