    "content": "Parliament, I sometimes wondered whether we, in this Parliament, were not abdicating our role of oversight. It seemed like oversight should be done only by the Minority Party and not the Majority Party. Parliament has a fundamental role to oversee the Executive. Whether you are in the same party with the Executive or not, there is certain minimum critical evaluation that you need to do. My experience with the vetting in the last Parliament was quite mixed. Sometimes we had such noise that you would think we were in a public rally because people are uncomfortable with critical evaluation of other people they did not agree with. I hope we will avoid that kind of situation this time round. We have rules that govern the conduct of Members during committee sessions."
