    "content": "Madam Speaker, as much as I appreciate the statements of my learned colleague here, I am not the Attorney-General of the People’s Republic of Kenya or the people’s Attorney-General. I am Attorney-General Emeritus of the Republic of Kenya. Secondly, you cannot have a shadow Attorney-General. Under our current Constitution, I doubt if it is permissible for anybody to appoint any cabinet. It was possible under the old Constitution. There is only one cabinet which is now in the process of being formed. I can, therefore, not exist in a non-existent cabinet. Again, I have not seen my name being announced as the Attorney-General of the People’s Republic of Kenya."
