    "content": "Whereas I agree with you that we do not want to be mandated with all manner of village concerns, but nevertheless we gave ourselves the Constitution and we provided that any Kenyan may petition on any matter, including petitioning Parliament, and particularly this House, to do away with the Constitution. If a petition is forwarded to us requiring this, all we need to do is to see whether it meets the thresholds. Then, the Committee will go and advise that person to go and collect the requisite number of signatures. That may be the only avenue available. Hon.
