Senators, having listened to the deliberations, I think we have a competent Committee that can look at this and determine whether they are interfering with the boundaries or degazetting a forest and report back. In view of that and pursuant to Standing Order No. 226(1), the petition stands committed to the relevant Committee; in this case the Standing Committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources. In terms of Standing Order 226(2), the Committee is required, in not more than 60 days from the time of reading the prayer, to respond to the petitioner by way of a report addressed to the petitioner and laid on the table of the Senate. I thank you."
