"content": "I stand to support the petitioners in this matter. In Meru, especially the areas surrounding Mt. Kenya, Buuri Constituency, Laikipia, Ontulili, Gathioro and other places, a number of pieces of land were gazetted by the Government to settle squatters but due to a problem in the Meru Land Registry, some “scrupulous” officials in the Ministry of Lands joined hands with a few tycoons and grabbed the land which was meant for squatters.
