    "content": "In future, we should create a specific committee that will look at matters environment. If we do not take the environment as a serious matter of national importance, then the future generation in this country and the rest of the region will suffer. We are bound to lose lives because of destroying our forest. Hon. Speaker, those of us who are old enough can all agree that this is probably the first year in the history of this country that we have not had meaningful rainfall from September. Now we are approaching March and we have no rain. I call upon the Committee to take this matter seriously and not look at it as a local issue of Mount Kenya region."
