Pursuant to Standing Order 46 (2) (b), I rise to seek a Statement from the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Health regarding the cancer situation in Marsabit County. In the Statement, the Chairperson should respond to the following concerns:- (a) How many cancer patients are there in Marsabit County currently? (b) How many deaths have occurred as a result of cancer in Marsabit County in the last fives years? (c) What is the cause of the increased cancer cases in Marsabit County? (d) How many health facilities are equipped to deal with cancer patients in Marsabit County? (e) What measures has the national Government put in place to mitigate the increase in cancer cases in Marsabit County? (f) What measures have been put in place by the national Government and the county Government to support families affected by cancer?
