    "content": "The social assistance programme is very important especially to the vulnerable in our communities: the old, widows and orphans. Like Members who have spoken before me, I would like to say that the way the money is channelled is not beneficial to us who come from other parts of the country. We had suggested before that the money could be sent to the post offices or even to the chiefs’ offices so that the elderly people access it near where they stay. There is no need for a man of 70 years to travel for over 100 kilometres to collect Kshs2,000."
