    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I want to support the adoption of this Sessional Paper. When it comes to housing in Kenya, we all know that the NHC is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, Cap.117. The history of the NHC goes back to the colonial era. The colonialists wanted to promote Africans, more so Kenyans, to have decent housing. Right now, in Kenya, there is supposed to be housing for the low-income earners, but nobody can define the real low-income earners. Everybody is now a hustler and fighting for their own lives. It is man for himself and God for us all."
