    "content": "I represent Langata Constituency and part of my people live in a very bad state. They live in slums. It is only proper, as their Member of Parliament, that I support this Motion so that we can ensure the Government gives these Kenyans access to decent houses. We had a fire incident in Kijiji slums and we lost five lives, property and 6,000 people were displaced. Right now they are trying to go back to their normal lives. If they had proper housing, the fire incident would have been managed. However, they live in a very bad state and the Government has neglected them. The Government has not provided them with decent and affordable houses. They get diseases because of the dirty water they consume. The environment they live in and the sewerage system are not properly managed. Now that the Government has shown interest by bringing this policy paper for adoption, we should support it so that we can provide infrastructure that ensures we have proper housing."
