"content": "I can see the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs wants to say something. I just want to imagine that, even as we use these rules about admissibility…I can see my good friend Hon. John Olago Aluoch and Hon. Otiende Amollo would want to weigh into this matter. I hope even the Judiciary would also exercise some little bit of restraint in the way they admit matters before them. This is because once both Houses pass legislation and we are not quarrelling about the procedure that has been followed but about some provisions in the law, we should not find the Judiciary admitting a suit where the Speaker is the respondent. Respondent to do what? Even if the Speaker was to appear there he can only say that law was passed in a particular way. I saw Hon. Otiende Amollo smiling.
