Pursuant to Standing Order 46 (2) (b), I rise to seek a Statement from the Chairperson, Standing Committee on Education, on registration of schools and inadequate school facilities in primary and secondary schools in the country. In the Statement, the Chairperson should:- (a) State the criteria used to approve primary and secondary schools for registration and operation. (b) Explain why some schools have been in operation without the requisite approval for registration and operation.
