    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, two weeks is too long a time, given that the process will begin anytime and already, the people of Taita-Taveta County feel that this is a systematic way by the establishment to continue marginalising them. I wanted to request for this statement last week, but I did not get that opportunity. If I can get the statement on Tuesday, I will be happy. As a request, I would want the Chairperson to write to the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Tourism to halt that process until public participation has taken place. This is because the CS was in Laikipia and talked to the people there. He massaged their egos and pampered them by saying that now that there is human-wildlife conflict, they can relocate the elephants to Taita-Taveta County without having public participation with the people of Taita Taveta County. I expect to get some response by Tuesday."
