    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I agree with the hon. Member. The 12 months’ period covers up to Webuye. I think my officers were anxious to give the period but we hope to speed up the work because the people of that area have suffered enough and we would like to give them comfort. I would also like to tell the hon. Member that a development partner, the World Bank, has agreed to support us on the rehabilitation of that road; that is rebuilding of the same afresh. At the moment, we are involved in negotiations and we hope to conclude that as quickly as possible for the rebuilding of the Kisumu-Kakamega- Kitale Road."
