    "content": "On 29th January 2018, Hon. Speaker notified the House the receipt of the Message from His Excellency the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) of the Republic of Kenya with respect to appointment of persons to the various positions of Cabinet Secretary, Principal Secretaries, High Commissioners and Ambassadors. In line with the established procedure, the Clerk of the National Assembly invited the interested members of the public through a public advert to submit their representation by reading statement and oath affidavit that they may have under suitability or otherwise of the said nominees to the respective State departments. On Wednesday, 14th February 2018, pursuant to Section 6(3) of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, the Clerk in writing invited the nominee for the vetting approval hearing."
