Temporary Deputy Speaker, I am excited that this time we are not talking about universal healthcare being carried by an individual, but rather it is an agenda of the Jubilee Government championed by none other than the President himself. We have now come full circle. We know for sure that this insurance cover is helping private hospitals more than ever before. At that time, they fought it because they thought it would impoverish them. In fact, they are doing much better than they did then. I hope this House will truly support this agenda. Unless we remove the burden of healthcare from mwananchi, we will forever, as Members of Parliament, go to Harambees from January to December during the entire five years of our term. We shall be spending money that should have been provided through the universal healthcare. So, even as we challenge the Jubilee Government, it is good to accept that it has taken up a certain agenda that is huge and critical for this country."
