"content": "If they mean to kill teachers, they will come and kill teachers in Nairobi. What will stop a lone gunman from walking into one of the private school compounds and shooting teachers? What will stop him? Nothing! Therefore, the idea of saying that we remove teachers from Northern Kenyan region is simplistic. It holds no water, and it is not the right solution. We are falling into the trap of the terrorists. Therefore, we must find permanent solutions. We must come up with forward looking strategies. Terrorists will be here today, tomorrow and every other day. They are evolving and coming up with a sophisticated approach for working out their agenda. If we start firefighting and saying that we need to withdraw teachers from northern Kenya, that is defeating the whole purpose of the integration of this country. I, therefore, strongly oppose this Adjournment Motion."
