    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I bring a Petition which is dated 23rd February, 2018. The Petition is from the residents of Murang’a County who draw the attention of the House to the following:- (1) That the insurance sector in Kenya is well regulated by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA), and there are specialist Medical Insurance Providers (MIP) that act as brokers who then source various health insurance coverage plans. (2) That health insurance protects the insured from high costs arising out of an illness or an accident provided, they are covered on a health policy from the health insurance companies.
