"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, while I appreciate the Statement given by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Government. I would like to make some clarification. He has said that Her Worship the Mayor is the one who ordered the demolition yet there is the clerk who is supposed to be the official administrator and who can give instructions to the council workers, why would it even require any further investigations? Why would the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) investigate an issue which is already very clear that the Mayor took the law into her hands? What will be the fate of the Government house which was demolished? The Office of the Vice- President and Ministry of Home Affairs had pumped in money and it has not come out clearly as to who will compensate it. How soon is the CID expected to complete the investigations?"
