Madam Temporary Speaker, I agree with you when you raised the issues of the functions of the deputy governor. Let us not create a situation where deputy governors are waiting for either the governor to die or to be hounded out of office. I suspect some of the impeachments that came here might have been fuelled by people who wanted to assume the office. We should tighten the legislation so that whoever comes into office assumes the office in a responsible manner. I support this Bill with those few amendments. We would like to be shown how this is going to be factored in and I fully support this Bill at this initial stage. I beg to support."
