    "content": "Hon. Speaker, I have a statement on the Kenya Power and Lighting Company. I wish to inform the House that there has been an attempt to defraud me and probably other colleagues by persons claiming to be officers of the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) working under the initiative titled “The Last Mile Connectivity Project.” These fraudsters have been asking us for a payment of Kshs13,800 per village, which translates to The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
