I stand pursuant to Standing Order No. 46(2) b, to seek a Statement from the Chairperson Standing Committee on Education regarding the transfer of teachers from Northern Kenya, specifically Wajir County. In the Statement, the Chairperson should explain the following: (1) Why the Government resorts to transfer of teachers from schools in Northern Kenya whenever the area faces insecurity challenges.
