However, I have exercised my discretion under Standing Order 39 for the convenience of the Senate. This is because, this afternoon, we have 26 statements to be issued within the Statements Hour. I have used that discretion to rule that the Statements that were requested by Senators who are not here can be deferred to tomorrow, so that we see if we can make progress. However, ordinarily, were it not for the fact that we have so many statements today, the statement would have proceeded in the manner in which you have highlighted. Order, Senators!
