    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me the opportunity to debate this Bill. The creation of this Authority is long overdue. During the 10th Parliament, Hon. Mutula Kilonzo Senior was the Minister for Nairobi Metropolitan Development and we visited Machakos. We had a public function where we sensitised the people on the importance of Nairobi metropolitan and the developments which would come with that programme. Unfortunately, I do not know what went wrong because the programme appeared to have died. I want to thank those who brought this Bill, so that we can bring sanity in our transport sector."
