    "content": "Madam Temporary Chairperson, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 17 of the Bill be amended — (a) (a) in sub-clause (1) by deleting the word “Council” appearing immediately after the word “The” in the introductory clause and substituting therefor the words “county executive committee member; (b) by deleting sub-clause (2) and substituting therefor the following new sub- clause— (2) The county executive committee member shall before revoking or suspending a licence, inform the licensee of the intended revocation or suspension, in writing, and give the licensee an opportunity to make representations before making a determination. (c) in sub-clause (3) by — (i) (i) deleting the words “Council” appearing immediately after the words “a licence the” and substituting therefore the words “county executive committee member”; and (ii) (ii) deleting the words “Council” appearing immediately after the words “licence to the” and substituting therefore the words “county executive committee member”; and (b) in sub-clause (6) by deleting the word “Council” appearing immediately after the words “or revoked the” and substituting therefore the words “respective county executive committee member”."
