    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I wish to get further clarification from the Prime Minister now that he has indicated the commitment to the fight against corruption. We as Members of Parliament have heard, on a number of occasions, some rather threatening statements emanating from the Executive, in particular his office, that Members of Parliament are overstepping their mandate when we exercise our oversight responsibilities through Committees and investigate cases of corruption. I would like the Prime Minister to clarify whether the Government appreciates the role of Parliament in the fight against corruption. We are, indeed, also worried that although the Chair has made the clarification, we had a feeling that probably the Executive would like to co-opt us and possibly request us to go slow and compromise us through---"
