"content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for also giving me time to add my voice to what my colleagues have already spoken. I am one of the few people who spent a lot of time thinking and worrying about Kenya. I have been complaining, talking to myself and to anybody I came close to as to why this happened to us. It was very possible that we were going to split this country into two sections, so, I got worried. I wanted Kenya to remain intact. I have seen so many ugly things based on parties where I come from. People did not speak to each other, blows have been exchanged, bad words have been used, and some bullets have been fired. There was much division because of the elections of 2017. As much as this handshake has taken place, my interest and desire is that the two gentlemen and statesmen that have decided to shake hands go ahead and elaborate and explain this issue to the people so that even those from my community understand what the handshake means.
