    "content": "Amb. Richard Titus Ekai’s work experience is largely in the public sector and we noted that he has been an ambassador in the Kingdom of Thailand. Amb. Richard Ekai is a beneficiary of several awards some of them being the Chief of Order of the Burning Spear (CBS) which was conferred by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta in December 2014. He also holds Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS) which was conferred by President Mwai Kibaki in December 2011 and also Dean of Diplomatic Corps in Thailand from March 2012 to June 2013. He is a Member of the Kenya Association of Public Administration and Management. The Committee considered the suitability of Richard Titus Ekai to serve as an ambassador and also noted that he has previously served as Ambassador in the Kingdom of Thailand. The Second nominee to appear before the Committee was Dr. Wilfred Gisuka Machage who also appeared on 27th March 2018 at 10.00 a.m. and was interviewed pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution, Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, and the Standing Orders."
