The Statutory Instruments Act allows the CS to make regulations, the purpose of which is to breathe life into the Acts of Parliament and to ensure that the Acts that are passed by this House can be implemented. By so doing the CS is supposed to publish the regulations and present them to this House within a very short period of time. After that, Parliament is meant to deliberate and within, I think, 28 days The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
